Halo 3 Now Officially Available On PC

A new installment to the Halo: The Master Chief Collection debuts on PC.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is quite the popular bundle deal for those that enjoyed Halo. It’s a game that essentially gives players most of the mainline and spin-off installments for players to enjoy and while it’s been available for a good little while on the Xbox One platform, we’re still waiting for the full game to hit the PC platform. Rather than delivering the full bundle right away, 343 Industries has been tweaking the game to ensure it’s readily available for a mass onslaught of players. As a result, we’ve been seeing these games first enter beta one at a time before they are released for the general public to purchase.

There are two ways right now to obtain these Halo games and that’s either by purchasing the full bundle and receiving the games one at a time or by purchasing the games individually. Today we have the latest entry for the franchise hit the marketplace, which being Halo 3. This game includes everything from the original release but some enhancements such as 4K and ultrawide monitor support. Halo 3 was a massive hit on the Xbox 360 and we’re sure it’s going to be an installment players will be enjoying for quite a while.

If you haven’t played the Halo franchise then this collection will get you started in the right direction with the upcoming launch of Halo Infinite. Within this collection, players will receive Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and lastly Halo 4. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come packed with Halo 5: Guardians which is a game still exclusive to the Xbox One platforms.

Perhaps we’ll see Halo 5: Guardians release into the market for PC after this collection wraps up on the platform. After all, the next mainline installment, Halo Infinite, is set to release at the end of this year for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC platforms.
