Turtle Rock’s Phil Robb isn’t concerned over small graphical discrepancies between the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. He knows that all three pieces of hardware are pushing games to new extremes, and when the former Left 4 Dead developers pushes new cooperative project Evolve out the door, Robb expect all three versions to look pretty much the same.
"The nice thing about the new consoles is that they're pretty hot in terms of the polygons they can push and the processing power and that sort of stuff," Robb recently told OXM. "In fact, they're more powerful than the PC that I have at my desk, which is pretty encouraging, because… well, it looks pretty good at my desk!
"For once we're in a position where PC and consoles are going have parity on how good they look, so that's pretty good," he continued. "I don't know if I can say if there's anything specific about Xbox One versus PS4 that is really going to stand out – they're both good consoles and we expect the game's going to be awesome on both of them."
The game is still in pre-alpha, so plenty can change before it actually hits store shelves. Still, it sounds like the game is on track to be a delight to all platforms.
