Following the announcement yesterday that Murdered: Soul Suspect will be released on Xbox One, Square Enix has now confirmed a PlayStation 4 launch is also planned.
Murdered will have a 1080p resolution on PS4 and Xbox One and other enchancements over last-gen versions. Square Enix says:
"The new console versions will offer increased visual fidelity via native 1080p output. Elements such as subsurface scattering and an increased particle count will depict an even more immersive ghost world and cast as players guide slain Salem detective Ronan O’Connor on a quest to find his killer and escape the limbo-like world of Dusk."
It's unclear why Square Enix decided to give Microsoft a 24 exclusive reveal for the new consoles but the fact that they have done so may suggest that exclusive or timed exclusive content is on the way to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game.
