The Xbox One isn’t all it should be at this time. Modern consoles need time to grow before they mature into entertainment systems that everyone can be happy with, and Microsoft’s director of programming for Xbox Live, Larry Hryb (better known as Major Nelson), is helping to make fan demands a reality. Speaking with Canada.com, the Microsoft employee discussed how his team is looking into what the users want and using that information to make a better Xbox One.
“When we look back and look at what we’ve done, we want to continue to adapt the system to what gamers want,” he said. “The team that works on Xbox are gamers themselves. We want to build the system that we use and that we know gamers would enjoy using.
“We’re going to continue to refine the system and make it what the Xbox fans are expecting and what they want. We’re listening to the feedback every single day. I’ve already seen some changes in the operating system internally with what we’re building.”
It’ll take some time and effort to bring the box to where it needs to be, but everyone over at Microsoft is willing to put in that work.
