Gearbox Software has posted a survey asking fans of the Homeworld series which platforms they would like to see the HD release launch on as well as whether there would be interest in a Collector's Edition.
Participants are questioned on how much they'd be willing to pay for the Collector's Edition and if they'd be interested in an artbook.
In a statement prior to starting the survey the studio said responses would be compiled for use in "future Gearbox efforts".
"We value your input in making future Gearbox efforts even more awesome. Please understand that your responses to this survey will be taken seriously, but we cannot guarantee that we will act upon your suggestions. Although you won't be compensated for completing this survey, you may receive our gratitude for being one of the most awesome people in the world – a member of our community."
You must be over the age of 13 to participate in the survey which has revealed some new details about the re-release of Homeworld 1 and 2.
Among the change are high-res texture and model upgrades, new post-processing effects, animated cutscenes remade in HD by the original Homeworld teams and a remastered soundtrack with all new tracks. The HD versions will also come with Steamworks integration with matchmaking in addition to Steam Achievements, as well as support for user-created mods.
Gearbox bought the rights to the Homeworld franchise from the bankrupt THQ earlier this year.
