The popular Mortal Kombat reboot will have its first downloadble content coming next month. The new DLC will offer some new balance changes and a new playable character. So who is this brand new character making their way to the MK reboot? Well, the not so new character will be Skarlett.
You may recall Skarlett from MK3. Skarlett made her debut in the bone crushing Mortal Kombat world in MK3 after a glitch. The glitch would cause several characters such as Reptile, Scorpion, Sub-Zero and others completely red. Another neat bit of information on Skarlett is where she gained her name, turns out that the community had chosen the name for her after being released unnamed. That's not all the DLC will offer, Ed Boon co-creator of Mortal Kombat also told G4 in a recent interview that you can expect some "free stuff" to be included. We're not fully sure of what to expect from the "free stuff" section of the DLC, maybe some new costumes or arenas?
You can expect to get the DLC in the next few weeks however pricing has yet to be confirmed.
