Microsoft has a lot of deals going for Black Friday, between games, consoles, and other content. Of course, to match your interests, we’ll be focusing on the console bundles here, and a separate post for the games.
Right out the gate, the newly redesigned Xbox 360, sans Kinect and with only one controller, is available for only $ 99 at Walmart. It may only have a 4 GB hard drive, but since you can replace the drive, and older models were notorious for breaking down, this may be a good way to upgrade. Some might even want to buy in bulk.
If you need more stuff to sweeten the deal, Best Buy has a 250 GB $ 189.99 bundle. You get the previous model 360, one controller, an official headset, Halo 4 and Darksiders 2 on disc, and Tomb Raider and Batman: Arkham City download codes.
In the meantime, Amazon and Newegg are offering their own 250 GB bundle, based on the new Xbox 360 model. This one comes with Halo 4 on disc, Tomb Raider via download code, and one month of Xbox Live Gold. Amazon has this bundle for $ 189.99, while Newegg has it for $ 199.99.
Families also have an Xbox 360 bundle option. You can get the new 4 GB model, with one controller, Kinect, Kinect Sports: Season Two, Kinect Adventures, a Forza Horizon download code, and one month of Xbox Live Gold. This bundle is available at Target, Toys’R Us, and Microsoft's own online store.
