Multiple IGN sources confirm that Telltale Games is developing a Game of Thrones game based on the novels of George R.R. Martin.
When IGN contacted Telltale about the possibility of a Game of Thrones game, Telltale responded with the following:
“We get these sorts of rumors about what we could be working on next cropping up all the time. Officially we have no comment."
Telltale neither confirms nor denies their work on the Game of Thrones property, but the studio still stays busy. Telltale continues development on their episodic series, The Wolf Among Us, and also just announced the development of a second season for The Walking Dead.
Telltale worked on other notable properties such as Jurassic Park, but none found the same success as The Walking Dead. Unless Telltale confirms their work on Martin's property, Games of Thrones fans can only anticipate his new novels or the release of HBO's television series.
