Overall, the Polymega is a modular HD retro video game console that offers gamers a means to enjoy a wide selection of video games that can be connected to modern HD televisions. Unlike the Retron 5, the Polymega offers CD-ROM support which will play PlayStation, Sega CD, TurboGrafx-CD, and Sega Saturn games. As such, the chances are you already own a nice collection of video game titles to enjoy with the game system before you even pick a unit up.
However, if you don’t own a collection of video game titles before picking up the console and are just future-proofing the game room to ensure you have a system fully ready to play your pickups then you won’t have to game hunt right away. It was recently unveiled that this modular retro game system will come packed with free video game titles.
If you never heard of this upcoming retro console, the device will release modular components that players can swap. As a result, you can go through a wide range of platforms on one device just by replacing the header.
As mentioned each module will come with packed in video game titles but don’t expect anything too outrageous. These titles are relatively unknown titles that you may not have even played originally like 8 Eyes on the NES, or Viper for the PlayStation. But, at the very least you can enjoy some video game titles right out of the box to get you started.
