2K Games and Firaxis bring greater variety in map spawning with the Scrambled Continents map pack for Civilization 5.
With the Scrambled Continents pack, Firaxis takes real-world geographical locations as templates for landscapes. The continents of Africa, East Asia, North America, South America, Western Europe, Middle East and Antarctica retain their shapes, but randomize the interior landscapes.
Players will also find scripted maps for the Small Continents, Oceania and Earth continents criteria when creating sessions.
The Scrambled Continents Pack follows the release of the Civilization 5: Brave New World expansion that launched earlier this summer. The expansion introduced new leaders such as the Venice and Shoshone.
