Rockstar is providing a stimulus package for anyone who's played Grand Theft Auto Online during the month of October. As you may already know, players have experienced a myriad of problems with the online mode, ranging from losing their hard-earned cash and items, to losing their characters in their entirety.
The so-called stimulus package is being released as an apology to players who have played or will play GTA Online this month. Each player wil be getting a cool half-a-million in GTA$ in their GTA Online bank accounts, starting as early as next week.
In order to keep the economy balanced, the stimulus will be provided in two deposits of $250,000 with specific dates going out as soon as the company is ready to make the announcement. The second installment is expected to be out before the end of the month.
The studio hopes to provide players who've experienced cloud server errors, connection issues, and lost game progress with a fresh start on their characters.
