Battlefield 4 Beta: Low, Medium, High and Ultra Graphics Compared

October 2, 2013 by Ryan Parreno

Get a sneak peek at what everyone in Early Access is looking at

We have a nicely assembled little comparison picture showing the differences between low, medium, high, and ultra resolution settings for the Battlefield 4 Beta.

When looking at this picture, there are three things you will want to know:

At any resolution, really, the game genuinely looks great. DICE are frontrunners in this area, and they continue to demonstrate their skills here.

Of course, resolution is not the final consideration. Depending on your computer’s technical specs, you may prefer to go medium or even low settings, even if your computer can output to higher settings, to avoid other adverse visual issues that affect playability, such as lag or screen tearing.

Finally, as we recounted yesterday, the Battlefield 4 Beta is based on an earlier build of the game. Do not expect this to reflect the final look of Battlefield 4.
