A number of new images have emerged of the PlayStation 4's UI as well as the accompanying mobile app on iOS and Android for the console.
The images were posted on Twitter by PlayStation community manager Chris Owen. While this isn't the first time images of the PS4's firmware have surfaced it's our best look yet at how integrated it all is. You'll also notice that it's very, very blue though you'll probably be able to change the background as you can on PS3.
We're shown the PS4 main menu which offers an easily scrollable list of games and other content. Other features demonstrated include video editing, gameplay streaming, user profiles, messaging, and the system's social feed.
Much of the same aesthetic is also applied to the PlayStation app and see a 'Connect to PS4' option. You can find out more about the PlayStation 4's UI here.
How do you think it compares to the XMB?
