Overnight in Japan a Pokemon TV special revealed a new trailer for the upcoming anime series with some details for X and Y.
You can watch the trailer below though it is in Japanese. We see Ash take on Team Rocket; and we get a glimpse the criminal group's leader Giovanni, which could possibly suggest a return of the Pokemon's original bad guys to the games.
Team Rocket were originally defeated by Red in the first generation Pokemon games and were once again defeated by players in Pokemon Gold and Silver.
Interestingly, we also get to hear Sinnoh battle music which may hint at a return of classic Pokemon music scores for X and Y. Regardless, we get to see more of the Kalos region, where Pokemon X and Y is set.
Pokemon X and Y are bringing a number of the changes to the series including the long-awaited ability to move diagonnally; 3D effects for battles (they won't be available in normal gameplay), an online storage system for the creatures known as the Pokemon Bank, and special 'mega' evolutions.
