YouTuber Creates NES Mario Battle Royale Game You Can Play Right Now

The battle royale game mode is constantly receiving new video game titles in the genre. Thanks to titles like Fortnite and Apex Legends, there is a constant growing list of gamers joining in on the genre. We’re even seeing classic video game franchises joining in on the fun with even Tetris receiving quite a popular battle royale title known as Tetris 99. Now a new contender has unofficially entered the market and that’s Mario.

It looks like a YouTuber that goes by the name of InfernoPlus has created Mario battle royale title that is completely free and available to be played online. The game is called Mario Royale and it puts players into the classic Super Mario Bros Nintendo Entertainment System title but with a catch. Instead of being alone, you have 99 other players going through the whole game as well. Ideally, you want to be the last man standing at the end of the game.

While you can directly interact with the other players, you can direct shells or smash blocks that could cause an opponent to fall to their death or trap them. Other than that, its the standard Mario title that’s playable from your web browser.

We’re not sure if this game will last too long as Nintendo is known for killing off fan projects but for now, it’s available to be played right now for free. If you wish to try the game out then simply follow this link right here.
