Rockstar Games recently launched a big video game title into the market known as Red Dead Redemption 2. However, despite being a relatively new video game launch, there is no slowing down the rumors and speculation pieces going up online about the development studio’s biggest video game franchise, Grand Theft Auto. This series has been around for decades and now that we’re coming up to E3 2019, more rumors are once again flooding online about what we could see in Grand Theft Auto 6.
Grand Theft Auto seems to add something new to each installment including the latest release of Grand Theft Auto 5. It not only holds a massive video game world for players to explore compared to past installments, but it changed up the protagonists. Instead of leaving players with one particular lead character to go through a narrative campaign, Rockstar offered gamers three unique characters that had their stories intertwined. Now the big rumor going around online is that Grand Theft Auto 6 would feature a female protagonist lead though it’s uncertain if this is actually true. Really, being a rumor, it’s purely speculative fun at the moment.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see Rockstar introduce a female lead but we’re certainly wondering if the upcoming installment would follow the same overall mechanics with there being multiple lead characters. At any rate, perhaps we’ll finally see what the upcoming installment will be like during this year’s E3 2019 expo. Unfortunately, it’s uncertain if the game will actually appear during E3 this year but with the expo around the corner, we won’t have to wait very long to find out.
