It has emerged that the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall is not being developed by Respawn who are working on the PC and Xbox One editions.
In a statement from publisher EA Partners to CVG, the company said that Respawn had 'hand picked' an external studio to work on the project but it's currently unknown what studio that is.

EA commented:
"The 360 version of Titanfall is being developed by an independent studio hand picked by Respawn. The two studios are working closely to ensure the two versions are both delivered at the same level of polish and quality that fans expect."
Titanfall is Respawn's first game following the studio's formation in 2010 by Jason West and Vince Zampella – who formerly created Call of Duty at Infinity Ward.
While Titanfall is currently only planned for PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One a PS4 version has not been ruled out entirely. The game is set to be released at some point in 2014.
