11 new screenshots of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD has surfaced ahead of the game’s release, displaying a variety of the action-adventure game’s main characters, including Link, Tetra, and more.
The game follows the tale of a young boy named Link, who is accompanied by a magical instrument called the Wind Waker. With the instrument, he can control the direction of the wind to guide him and his talking boat The King of Red Lions towards finding his younger sister Aryll.
New features will be included in the HD remake. Players will be able to use the Wii U GamePad's touch screen to manage their inventory and view maps. They can also take in-game pictures and then post them on Nintendo's social network Miiverse, which is also exhibited in one of the screenshots.
The game will be released for Wii U in Japan on September 26. It will arrive in North America and PAL regions in October.
A separate Zelda title, A Link Between Worlds, is also due for launch this November for the 3DS.
