Grasshopper Manufacture's Goichi Suda, more commenly known as Suda 51, is making a PS3 scrolling action title as the fifth part of the Short Peace anime project headed up by Akira creator Katsuhiro Otomo.
According to a translation by AnimeNewsNetwork the game centers around "a woman named Ranko Tsukigime, the only daughter of the head of the 'Tsukigime Enterprise' underground conglomerate that controls the rented parking lot business. Ranko is a normal, brazen high school girl during the day, and at night she works as an assassin. One day Ranko stakes out her target as normal, but a 'demon' from an opposing organisation sneaks up on her. Players control Ranko as she escapes from the opposing organisation, asnd as she kill her enemies with 'effects'."
So, pretty normal for a Suda 51 game then.
The game's official website has been launched today but as of yet there's no word about a release outside Japan. Suda 1 and Tokyo Jungle developer Yohei Kataoka are teaming up to develop the game while Namco Bandai will be publishing.
It's release date is currently "undecided."
