Aliens: Colonial Marines Single-Player DLC Discovered

July 8, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

Sadly, Colonial Marines is still a game that will get DLC.

If you purchased Aliens: Colonial Marines for full price, I feel bad for you. The first-person shooter coming out of Gearbox, which had been in development for what felt like a lifetime, had a few impressive looking gameplay trailers under its belt. Nothing about the project looked revolutionary, but for fans of the Aliens movies, the game appeared to be a good excuse to jump back into the universe. We all know how the game turned out, though. After weeks of controversy concerning the developer releasing dishonest videos and talk of Sega taking legal action, people have almost forgotten about the software failure.

Sadly, the game will be coming back into the public’s eye through some recently discovered DLC. The Season Pass (and I have no sympathy if you picked that up) has yet to be fulfilled, and according to a few leaked trophies that are floating around, some single-player DLC titled "Stasis Interrupted" is on the way. The list can be found below, and if you at all care about spoilers, you might want to shield your eyes.

  • Thank You, That Will Be All – Complete Stasis Interrupted at any difficulty
  • I'm Happy to Disappoint You – Complete Stasis Interrupted in Ultimate Badass
  • We're Still Collating – Find all Stasis Interrupted Audio Logs
  • I Only Need to Know One Thing – Find your family
  • They Can Bill Me – Destroy the Legato
  • I Don't Got All Day – Sever the umbilical without missing a shot
  • They're Dead! OK? Can We Go Now? – Kill all the Lurkers in Sulaco engineering
  • Now What Are We Supposed to Do? – Escape the FTL ship
  • We Are Leaving! – Survive the Queen escape
  • It's the Only Way to Be Sure – Destroy all samples in the labs of the Queen module

There’s no date or hard facts other than what we got here, but expect to see additional content for this hot piece of garbage in the near future.
