CVG captured footage of PlayStation 4 launch title Killzone: Shadow Fall at a special event Sony held yesterday for UK media which focused on the upcoming console.
While it's all offscreen footage the trailer should give you some idea of the graphical prowess powering Guerrilla's next-gen title. We see the players take on the Helghast in one of the forests of Vekta over the course of seven and a half minutes. We also see it's one of the game's sneakier sections.
Previous Killzone games by and large focused on narrow corridors but Shadow Fall at least gives you some wiggle room to move about before the gunfire starts. The Owl drone brings with it a degree of combat capability but the game retains the series' trademark weighty movement so you shouldn't expect anything too drastic in terms of crossing the battlefield.
Also at the PS4 event PlayStation Access recorded a hands-on with the DualShock 4 which is significantly better than its predecessors by all accounts, especially for shooters.
Guerrilla has said PS4 is the easiest platform they've ever developed for, so hopefully they make the most of it.
