Dragon Ball FighterZ Coming To Nintendo Switch This Year

June 12, 2018 by Dennis Patrick

Take Dragon Ball FighterZ with you on-the-go with the upcoming Nintendo Switch port.

The Dragon Ball franchise continues to bring in new fans regularly and with such a massive fan base, there are plenty of video games being developed regularly. One of the latest titles to release under the franchise was Dragon Ball FighterZ. This title released earlier the year where players received a fluid and fast-paced fighting title by developers Arc System Works.

Since its release publishers Bandai Namco had expressed an interest of bringing the game over to the Nintendo Switch, but its only until now that the game is confirmed for the platform. Bandai Namco released a tweet earlier today stating that players can expect Dragon Ball FighterZ to make a debut on the Nintendo Switch sometime later this year.

Now players can enjoy the latest fighting title on the go though we’re still left wondering if the game will come with any new features that were previously not already released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.

Currently, it seems that the game will be available to play on a single Joy Con so local two player battles will be easy to pull off right from the start. However, most gamers will likely want to use the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

As mentioned, the game is already available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. So far the Nintendo Switch version of the game does not have a specific release date at the moment.
