#13 GTA Online Crew Leader Visits His Crew In Real Life
GTA Online, like many other online games, has brought together gamers from all walks of life to play together and form communities around the game. When they’re not going on missions or driving around in the game world, some of them even meet up in real life.
The leader of a crew called Hillbilly Agenda has a leader who personally visits the friends he meets in-game if they’ve been a part of his crew long enough. The crew, which consists of about 30 players, is primarily based in Tennessee—but it’s different from your usual group of online players, in that it operates more like a family than a gaming clan. The crew was even covered by the documentary series NoClip, which followed the group’s leader, KnoxNerd, as he traveled around the world to meet the friends he made in-game, and even gives them a commemorative driving plate modeled after the ones in-game.
To date, he’s met over 34 players, 13 of which were to players who lived out of state, and even out of the country.
