#1 Gamers Are Porting Red Dead Redemption to GTA 5
Red Dead Redemption is probably never going to be ported to the PlayStation 4 or the PC, prompting some players to take matters into their own hands by creating a project to port the last-gen classic into Grand Theft Auto V on the gaming forums.
The project’s being led by a programmer named Mr. Leisurewear, who has since reverse-engineered all of Red Dead Redemption’s map into a workable state that you can run through in GTA 5. He and a full team of coders are working on tweaking GTA 5 to carry the map, visuals, textures, and even the game’s beautiful day and night cycle. Other aspects of the game, including the story and RDR’s bullet time Dead Eye feature are also making their way into the game.
