#4 GTA 5 Locations Are Based on Real Life
Did you know that the locations in Grand Theft Auto 5 are based on locations in the real world—specifically in California? Well, they certainly are, and while the game’s areas don’t bear the same names as their real-life counterparts, the locations themselves are realistically depicted.
One player compiled a series of selfies and compared them side-by-side with real places in California after they spent 600 hours in-game and went on a real-world roadtrip.
