#7 GTA Player Travels 50 Miles to Threaten Brother Who Killed Him In-Game
This is one situation that could’ve gone awry. A man is said to have become really upset after another player—his own brother–griefed his character in GTA Online. The victim says that it at first started after he playfully killed his brother in the game, which caused his brother to flip out and send him death threats.
He says that the two of them enjoyed playing games together, but one day things went too far and his brother started texting him death threats on the phone, describing how he would violently kill him in front of his wife and children and even kill his wife. Over the next 24 hours, he received death threats until his deranged brother came to his house and started yelling at him at his letterbox. The next night, threats didn’t yet cease, and his brother even started banging on the door with a baseball bat screaming that he would kill him like his character was in-game.
He was finally forced to call the police, who arrested the unhinged man.
