#11 GTA 5 Fans Petition Target to Change Its ‘Violent’ Logo
When the Target franchise of supermarkets in Australia banned sales of GTA 5 following an outrage campaign by “concerned” individuals whose complaints were described as “consumer feedback” despite never actually shopping at the place, GTA 5 players responded.
They launched a campaign to get Target—whose logo is that of a shooting target—to change its name and logo. It’s a fitting response to the ridiculous ban, calling Target’s cowardly move a “double standard” and asked that the company stop stocking other “reprehensible” goods, like the erotic fiction novel Fifty Shades of Grey.
