Controversial rap artist Tyler the Creator has hinted on his Facebook account, where he goes by Tyler Haley, that we'll "possibly" hear a Wolf track on GTA 5. Wolf is his latest album, which was released on April 2, 2013 on Odd Future Records. Tyler did not disclose which track would show up in the game.
The album was met with largely positive reviews from music critics, although Tyler's presence in the game may not be as well received by gamers who aren't fans of his music. For that matter, fans of Tegan and Sara may not particularly like the fact that he'll be in the game after he made homophobic comments about the two singers' sexual orientation. Regardless of his politically incorrect comments and his public beefs, his music has a place in the game and Rockstar is clearly in bed with Odd Future as it is, as can be seen in the following pictures where Odd Future artists had a chance to have a go with GTA 5Max Payne 3 at the Rockstar offices.
Note the HUD. That's appears to be what GTA 5 looks like. The screenshots appear to be of the game's multiplayer mode. The HUD itself looks quite a bit different than the one envisioned by the fans.
It’s Max Payne 3.
Neither Tyler nor Rockstar have yet to offer an official confirmation about his presence in the game, but his Facebook account should be confirmation enough for that. Given Rockstar's claim that the upcoming game's soundtrack will be the biggest one yet, there's little reason to think why this shouldn't be the case.
