Owners of the PlayStation 3 will be happy to know that Sony is following Valve's lead by adding cloud storage to the system. Exclusive to subscribers of the PlayStation Plus, the new online storage system will allow owners to save their games and data to the cloud.
The storage feature provides PSPlus users with 150mb of game save data and 1000 data files per account, and can be transferred between systems. Users will also able to back up their saves whenever they like.
Many PS3 titles are expected be patched in to support the new feature and moving forward, most new games will support it on release.
More details of the cloud storage can be found at the official PlayStation Blog.
