Despite the seeming suggestion at Microsoft's Xbox One reveal yesterday that the popular Ultimate Team feature will be an Xbox One exclusive EA has today confirmed that Ultimate Team will be headed to FIFA 14 on PS4 though some aspects of the feature will only be available on Xbox One.
Speaking to CVG EA commented "Ultimate Team is being developed for both Xbox One and PS4."
EA previously revealed that it earned an additional $108 million as a result of the Ultimate Team mode in FIFA 12 and announced a 61% increase in Ultimate Team users for FIFA 13. The feature, which allows players to trade footballers online, will however come with exclusive features though what those are have not yet been announced.
Fans of the series believe this may entail unique player trading cards or additional one-off cards such as the recent Player of the Season event.
FIFA 14 will use EA Sport's new Ignite Engine for the next-gen versions of the game. It was confirmed earlier today that Ignite will not be used in the PC version of the game.
Ignite promises more than 1,000 new animation of which 200 are dedicated to player celebrations following goals. FIFA 14 will also be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 however a Wii U version of the game is not development.
