Sony invited fans to watch their pre-E3 press conference on June 10th at 18:00 PDT or 21:00 EST (02:00 BST on June 11th in Europe).
When Sony announced the console at a special event in February but did not reveal the design of the system Microsoft's Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb Tweeted:

Neither a firm release date or price for the PS4 has yet been announced though we'll likely receive that information come the E3 media briefing. Microsoft meanwhile is expected to annoinced their "vision" for the next Xbox tonight while their full game line-up will be showcased at E3.
This isn't the only marketing move Sony's taken today with PlayStation 4 ads appearing on several major gaming websites. They've also snapped up Google ads for searches linked to Xbox and sponsored trending topics on Twitter.
