Watch Dogs is being billed as one of the biggest games of 2013, thanks to Ubisoft’s aggressive campaign. As a PC, current-gen, and next-gen title, there’s been a great deal of interest from almost every style of player out there, and that means that plenty of people will be pre-ordering the game before its fall release. However, according to a new press release sent out this morning, there will be different, exclusive bonuses attached to the two main retailers.
GameStop is the first store mentioned. Those who put money down at this chain across North America will see an additional single-player mission, dubbed The Palace Pack, that will include an investigation bonus and ATM hack boost. The investigation bonus will unlock exclusive investigation opportunities, while the ATM hack boost is meant to increase monetary rewards when hacking into different bank accounts. Those who pre-order at GameStop will also receive an exclusive poster designed by comic-book artist, Alex Ross.
Amazon is the second outlet with exclusive bonuses. The Signature Shot Pack is the reward for online buyers, which comes with an exclusive single-player mission. After this mission is completed, a biometric rifle and the black viceroy’s outfit will be unlocked. In order to gain these goodies, players will need to breach a stronghold, steal the package, and get out of the wards alive.
If you’d like to take a look at the current state of Watch Dogs, a few HD screens were recently released, as well as the game’s box art. This Ubisoft project will be available on every console under the sun Nov. 19.
