Kevin Conroy will be a part of Batman: Arkham Origins' cast. Conroy himself confirmed his involvement in the game at Comic-Con, Joystiq reports.
According to Conroy, he spent 10 months in the studio recording lines for the game. Although he did not exactly specify which role he will be playing, it's safe to say that Conroy will be reprising his role the game's titular character—it's a role he's played for years without end. Conroy voiced Batman in various animated series. He's also the voice of the character in DC Universe Online and the newly released Injustice: Gods Among Us.
No further details have been released about his involvement in the game.
The news contradicts a previous report, made late last month, which suggested that Conroy wouldn't be returning to play the role of Batman as the studio was looking for a younger voice actor to play a younger Batman.
The news comes in the wake of a teaser on Amazon, which reveals that Deathstroke will be a playable character in Batman: Arkham Origins.
