Croteam, the ultimate connoisseur of blood and gore, has revealed the fourth incarnation of the Serious Sam franchise: Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass. As usual, it looks like it’s going to be packed with insane, bloodthirsty mayhem:
The announcement came during the Reboot Develop Conference, which is currently in session and concludes on April 21. Croteam introduced gamers to Serious Sam in 2001. The series has since spawned multiple spin-offs, VR ventures and main sequels, the latest of which is Serious Sam 4. We first got word of Serious Sam 4 a few years ago, but to celebrate the official unveiling, Croteam released a teaser trailer (see the end of this article) that’s been injected with its typical barbaric humour. The developer also mentioned that Serious Sam 4 would be fully revealed at E3 this year at the Devolver Digital conference.
The release date is yet to be announced, but in the mean time, you can add Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass to your wishlist on Steam.
