The DC Comics supervillain Deathstroke (who was revealed in a teaser trailer just four days ago) will be included as a playable character in the pre-order DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins. The detail was released today in a teaser image on the front page of Amazon's video game section.
Players who pre-order the game from the retailer will receive the DLC alongside $10 worth of Amazon credit.
The teaser image features Deathstroke looking his finest but contains no other detail other than to state it the pre-order bonus as a "playable DLC," whatever that means.
The news comes in the wake of a report that Kevin Conroy will be returning to lend his voice to the game.
Batman: Arkham Origins takes place during Batman's early years. Set on a cold winter night—Christmas Eve, to be exact—Batman is hounded by eight assassins after crime boss Black Mask puts a hit out on him. It's up to him to find out why Black Mask wants him dead and survive the onslaught before the night is over.
The game is confirmed for an October 25 release date for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U. It will be released alongside a spinoff title called Blackgate, for the 3DS and PS Vita.
