A rating for a tie-in game to Guillmero del Toro's upcoming Pacific Rim movie has appeared on the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification's website with the game being developed by Japanese studio Yuke.
WWE maker Yuke has previously developed Real Steel for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live based on the Hugh Jackman movie of the same name meaning this will not be their first tie-in title.
According to one NeoGAF user, who posted a pack shot and screenshots of the game, it seems the Pacific Rim title will also be released on digital platforms such as PSN and XBLA.
While there's no firm release date as of yet the Pacific Rim movie is due to be released in the US on July 12th so we should see the game around the same time. The movie sees giant human controlled robots take on monsters and from the screens it seems the game will re-create that.
Pacific Rim will be the first movie del Toro has directed since 2008's Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, he had been due to helm The Hobbit Trilogy but left to pursue his own projects. You can see the movie's trailer here.
