PlayStation Store in Europe Hosts Easter Sale

March 27, 2013 by Jordan Erica Webber

Sony will offer discounts for the next fortnight.

Sony is having an Easter sale on the European PlayStation Store, much like its “12 Deals of Christmas” sale that took place over the holidays at the end of last year. It's calling this one “Easter Egg Hunt”, though you won't have to look particularly hard and the prizes cost money (and aren't made of chocolate). Still, it's always nice to be able to pay less for things, so if you've had your eye on anything on the PlayStation Store then keep an eye on this one

Today's offer is for the Killzone & Infamous Bundle (which includes Killzone HD and Infamous: Festival of Blood). Instead of £12.49 (or €19.99), you can now get your own digital copy of both games for £9.89 (or €15.99). It's not the most incredible deal, and perhaps not the best to lead with, but if you were going to buy the games anyway then saving a couple of quid is no bad thing. You'll be able to get the discounted price from now until noon on the 29th (Friday). Given how often the PlayStation Store gets taken down, you might want to head over there sooner rather than later.

It's not clear whether Sony will announce the next deal to launch as soon as that on the Killzone & Infamous Bundle ends or whether we'll get overlapping deals, but either way the “Easter Egg Hunt” will end on the 9th of April, a full week and a day after Easter Monday. If you're not impressed, check out the blog post on the PlayStation site to check out the discounts Sony is offering as part of the concurrent “Spring Sale”.
