The fine folks over at Young Horses have announced their booth plans for this weekend's PAX East 2013, and it promises to be a grand time! Octodad: Dadliest Catch, sequel to the delightful PC original, will be tentacles-on in their booth. This ridiculously fun physics-based game was among my favorites for PAX East 2012. Players help Octodad achieve domestic bliss as he attempts to live out a normal human life, completing every day mundane tasks and taking care of his wife and kids. Only problem is that he is in fact an octopus and his eight arms are spastic and unpredictable; players will find the game's challenge in trying to complete the most basic of goals while accounting for the titular sea critter's unwieldly limbs.
If you've already played the game there's still reason to stop by; they'll have new Xbox 360 controls to try out, as well as their touch based mobile version on the Surface Pro. There will also be the much beloved pins from last year, a new Octodad t-shirt design on sale (available at the Team Meat booth), and a family photo opportunity with the Octodad himself (ok, in the form of a cut-out board, but still!)
Visit them this weekend March 22-24, 2013 at booth 781, part of the enormous Indie MEGABOOTH this year. And tell them Holly sent ya!
