NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros Interactive may have plans to bring 2011's fighting game of the year Mortal Kombat to the PC.
Although neither the publisher nor the game studio have yet to make any announcements confirming their plans, the game has since been spotted on the online retailer Amazon.co.uk with a release date of June 14, 2013.
Eurogamer, which first spotted the listing, was told by Warner Bros. that they had nothing to announce about the game. Beyond refusing comment, the studio did not opt to deny that the listing was real.
The game was previously re-released in a "Komplete Edition" for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 last March. It carried the full game along with all available downloadable content.
It remains to be seen whether the game will be ported to the PC or if Amazon is simply jumping the gun with the listing. Although given the game's age, there's little reason as to why the retailer would do so.
A trailer for the Komplete Edition can be seen below.
