Wadjet Eye Games has a bundle available on Groupees that allows you to buy a bunch of the games for which the publisher is responsible for as little as $5. For the next two days, you'll be able to grab seven of the publisher's adventure games on the cheap. Spend $1 and you'll get Puzzle Bots and Gemini Rue. Spend at least $5, and you'll get The Blackwell Bundle (which includes The Blackwell Legacy, Blackwell Unbound, and The Blackwell Convergence), The Blackwell Deception, and Resonance. Can't decide whether you can afford to go the whole hog? Here's a brief description of each game to help you make up your mind:
Puzzle Bots is about a group of tiny robots who like to explore the factory in which they're made when their creators aren't paying attention. One day, they sneak out to try to open a mysterious box that their inventors can't, and end up discovering a “diabolical” plot that takes them on a big adventure.
Gemini Rue takes place on unfamiliar planets, and tells the story of an ex-assassin called Azriel Odin and an amnesiac called Delta-Six. Odin finds himself in a sticky situation and must turn to his criminal ex-employers for help, and Delta-Six is trying to escape from the hospital in which he's woken with his memory gone.
The Blackwell Bundle games focus on Rosa Blackwell, who discovers she's a medium and then embarks on several adventures in which she must “cure the supernatural ills of New York”.
The Blackwell Deception is the latest Blackwell game, in which Rosa and her ghost companion Joey investigate “the underground world of street psychics”, travelling through a variety of retro-styled environments.
Resonance gives players control over four different characters, each with their own backstory and contribution to make to the game. The four have to work together to find a new and dangerous technology left behind by a recently deceased particle physicist before someone else does.
