Dota 2, for a game that technically isn’t even out yet, is truly incredible to play. On the surface level it’s fun to work as a team to defend and attack against incoming enemy lords and gradually spawning minion fodder. On the higher levels it’s the most dense and complex multiplayer experiences you can involve yourself in. This mix of immediate fun, a learning curve that demands you keep playing to keep learning, and extreme amount of tournament coverage along with the streaming culture that surrounds it.
If you’ve never played it and you don’t currently have a key, ask anyone you know, they’ll probably all have one. The keys are everywhere and they’re just crowding up our gift inventory.
