With the recent confirmation from Platinum Games regarding Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2’s release on Nintendo hybrid console the Switch, we didn’t really know much else except an imminent release date for both the titles. Now Polish website FilmWeb has released some information regarding the technical aspects of how these games will run on the Switch.
Both games in the series will run at 720p and at 60 frames per second on the Nintendo Switch. While some gamers may have been gunning for a higher resolution considering 720P may not look that good in docked mode, its the type of game that would benefit more from smoother gameplay. Platinum Games has confirmed that they will be working on these ports themselves, with no external involvement.
Bayonetta 3 has been confirmed to be in the pipeline from the company so there’s quite a bit to look forward to from the team. Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are set to release for the Nintendo Switch on February 16th in 2018. You can pre-order both these games right now for your Switch.
