We should have expected that a release of a game on two different platforms wouldn’t have any interconnectivity, but Blizzard have removed any confusion so we don’t have to even entertain the thought train any longer in our stupid minds and can use that processing power for important things like wondering what being friends with Kanye West would be like or if you have any Angel Delight in the cupboards at home. We can thank Blizzard, at the very least, for that.

"While we think cross-platform play would be awesome, there are currently no plans to allow connectivity between PlayStation Network and Battle.net”
So there you have it. There’s absolutely no connection between the two games on PC and PS3. That means:
- No teaming up with cross-platform players
- No transferring characters accross
- No playing on PS3 with a mouse and keyboard
- No playing on PC with a Controller
- No Connection with your Battle.net account and your Playstation Network account
This isn’t any different from many games that have tried the same thing and failed, though seemingly a backward step for the industry given the integration that Steam has had in the PS3. The assumption is not to blame anyone for unwillingness to open up their platform, but to consider Blizzard’s disinterest in making this a priority.
We’ve reached out to Vaeflaire for further comment and hope to update you very soon on that last point.
