Following the announcement of Pokemon Rumble U, the high definition follow up to the WiiWare original Pokemon Rumble and the 3DS' Super Pokemon Rumble, Nintendo has opened an official site for the upcoming title, so far only announced for Japan. Like the previous titles, players will battle their Pokemon as wind-up toys, duking it out in the arena and recruiting more Pokemon to their army as they go along. Known also as Pokemon Scramble U, the game will feature a full 649 Pokemon from the roster in glorious HD.
The site revealed a batch of shiny new screenshots, showing off the wind-up Toy Pokemon as they appear in high definition on the Wii U. If your Japanese skills aren't too rusty you can head over there and check out all the news yourself.
So far there is no exact release date for Pokemon Scramble U in Japan, but it is expected this spring. No announcement has been made for a North American release.
