A new gameplay trailer of Sins of a Dark Age has been released, showcasing Ironclad Games’ upcoming fantasy-themed MOBA.
More than just a reskin of DOTA and League of Legends, Sins of a Dark Age ramps up the formula with the inclusion of new role-playing elements original to the game. Players can perform Realm Quests, which spawn dynamically over the course of the game. These can alter the way in which the battles take place, as accomplishing these objectives can give you an advantage over your enemy or penalize them.
The game’s director Blair Fraser provided three examples of Realm Quests which can occur in a game. These include fighting off a plague of rats, or stealing a treasure, or co-operating with your enemy against a deadly common threat.
Sins of a Dark Age is currently in beta phase, which you can gain access to for purchasing the Founder Edition. It’ll be out on the PC later this year.
