The free-to-play PC shooter Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online is pumping out some new free content, and 0.10.0 update packs in a new map, a new mode, and clan matches. The latest features introduce the Holdout Game Mode, which pits two teams against each other as they fight to find and defend a single point until the clock runs out, and the Balaklava Sub Pen Map, inspired by the formerly classified Ukranian submarine site and designed specifically for the new Holdout mode. It also adds the Triton Pack, a navally themed bundle including new helmets and armor vests, upgraded weapons, and and avatar customization (only available til the end of January). Lastly, clans (an introduction to the game back in October) will also now be able to go head to head in Clan Mode, picking squads from their clan mates and issuing challenges to other teams. A highlight of the new additions can be seen in the trailer above.
The update is also said to include several fixes and updates. Download and play the game for free over at the official site.
