Beloved dirt-road driving sim Spintires is getting revamped into Spintires: MudRunner, an upgrade from the 2014 edition. This time around, developer Saber Interactive has taken the reins with Focus Home Interactive, and plan to bring the game to both PC and consoles.
The classic Spintires recipe is still there: manoeuvring all-terrain vehicles across muddy Siberian roads, collecting lumber, unlocking new trucks, and managing your fuel wisely. But additions like a new sandbox map, 13 new vehicles, nine extra dedicated maps in Challenge Mode and a complete graphical restoration promise to spice things up.
There are 19 different vehicles, each with unique strengths and features. Players will be able to navigate them through extreme weather conditions, fluctuating weather cycles, and past environmental obstacles with behave in accordance with realistic physics. Play alone to level up your orienteering skills, or join friends in multiplayer to enjoy a sludge-filled marathon together.
Spintires: MudRunner is expected to release sometime in October for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
