Insomniac Games, makers of beloved franchises as Ratchet & Clank and Resistance, has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for its multiplatform shooter Fuse.
Originally called Overstrike, Fuse is a four-player co-op shooter set in the near future and star a team of four "expendable" soldiers collectively known as Overstrike 9. The pack's leader, Dalton Brooks, has three rules when it comes to missions and you can see it being ticked off in the video below.
While it seems to be your typical military shooter, Insomniac is known to pull of a trick or two when it comes to their games. Hopefully, they can pull it of with Fuse, too.
Fuse is being published by EA as part of their Partners Program and the game is set for release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in March of 2013.
Are you liking what you've seen of Fuse so far or does it seem derivative? Regarding its release schedule, do you think it has a chance against the likes of Tomb Raider, God of War: Ascension, BioShock Infinite, etc. releaseing within the same month or will it be gobbled up?
