The release of a new patch for Borderlands 2 on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 today also included a list of trophies. The patch was intended to add numerous bug fixes to the core version of the game, in addition to what will hopefully be a permanent fix to missing Badass Ranks.
The list of trophies, which appeared on the PS3 version of the game, gave mention to a new and previously unannounced DLC titled "Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt."
The trophies were discovered by members of the official Gearbox Software forums, who were able to collaborate and confirm their discovery upon checking their trophies list. Three trophies were included as a part of the update, including "Been there", "Done that", and "Face off". Respectively, the three trophies require players to complete all hunting side missions, discover all named locations, and complete a mission called "The Fall of Nakayama".
A poster on the forums took a photograph of the TV containing what appears to be the image of the Hammerlock DLC icon among the game's data. It goes without saying that the leak is legitimate. We've reached out to Gearbox for comment.
