We received a beautiful leaked trailer of Project CARS 2 earlier in 2017, and following up Bandai Namco has revealed the game’s release date and its official ‘E3 Sizzle Trailer’ in 4K resolution (see below). Project CARS 2 is of course the sequel to the extremely popular Project CARS, which just so happens to be 66% off right now on Steam, for a very limited time. Project CARS 2 promises to be a much more ambitious racer, and will include RallyCross dirt racing action that bring 70-foot jumps, obstacles, and licensed cars and tracks to the table.
Project CARS 2 is due to release on September 22 (spot on with former projections) for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Project CARS 2 creative director Andy Tudor has previously mentioned that the realistic racer would not be coming to Nintendo Switch, at least ‘currently’. Gameranx had a chat with Tudor last year about the studio’s interest in adapting the series to virtual reality, check it out here.
